The Inverness and Keith Clinics, together with the Orkney Clinic, comprise the

Highlands & Orkney McTimoney Chiropractic Group.

The treatments offered are both for humans and animals, depending on the Chiropractor.  All the Chiropractors are fully qualified and registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

Kay has worked in complementary health for many years with Kinesiology, Muscle Work and McTimoney Chiropractic.  This cumulative experience has enabled her to open her own McTimoney Chiropractic clinics in Hendon in London, Inverness and Keith in Scotland and Kirkwall on Orkney.  Her work and teaching has gained her a reputation in the complementary health care filed internationally.

She brings to her work her experience and skills in Kinesiology, Chiropractic and Educational Kinesiology & Brain Gym® to help sports injuries, general physical problems, learning difficulties and personal growth.  She enjoys working with clients from babies to senior citizens. Her Animal Chiropractic work covers horses, cows, sheep, dogs and cats.

Kay qualified as a Chiropractor in 1987 and is a Trust Member of the McTimoney Chiropractic College.  Educational Kinesiology/Brain Gym, which originates in the USA, was brought to the UK by Kay in 1984 and is now used in many schools, homes and workplaces to help learning skills.  It was because of the Brain Gym work that Kay, a dyslexic, was able to go back to train at the age of 39 as a Chiropractor.

Stephen’s interest in Chiropractic came from liking the idea that manual adjustment of the spine could positively affect health. He graduated with an Integrated Masters in Chiropractic from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2012, having worked for many years in the field of rehabilitation in the hospital environment. Stephen is also qualified in a number of soft tissue techniques and remedial exercises, which he uses and teaches in combination with his Chiropractic treatment sessions.

Stephen is keen to help his patients empower themselves with the knowledge to actively participate in maintaining their wellbeing. He is happy to work with people from all stages of life who may be experiencing acute pain and discomfort, recovering from illness and injury or wishing to improve their sporting performance.

Stephen is delighted to be joining the Highlands and Orkney Chiropractic group at Inverness and Keith. He is looking forward to meeting the Northern Scottish clients and being able to help many who may have not yet experienced the soft techniques of McTimoney Chiropractic.

McTimoney Chiropractic treatments can be claimed under Simply Health insurance.
